Welcome to Mrs. O’s Harmony Yoga!
Harmony Yoga is .... Working together to create a peaceful inner happiness.
Each week we will practice kindness, mindfulness, balance and symmetry. With the help of yoga poses, breathing exercises, and focusing within, we bring Harmony to our body and mind, and come to a natural state of happiness.
Meditations - We will exercise our bodies, our breath, and our minds all at the same time.
Journeys - In yoga, there is a pose for everything in the world. Our journeys each week will take us beyond the bounds of our mats and into exploring poses and discovering our big beautiful world.
Music and Instruments - Listening to music and playing instruments will enhance our rhythmic connections to our bodies with lyrics and beats.
Games - Using parachutes, bubbles, scarves and more our fun group games will build confidence, sharing and listening skills ... and patience!
Literature - Our books will reflect positive teachings, discover feelings, and connect our yoga poses to pictures and words.
Practicing the art of balance and peace with our body and mind in Mrs. O’s HarmonyYoga, will help build a community of friendships, love, trust and HARMONY!
